Sue was so accommodating and lovely. My daughter and I went on a trail ride before finding out they do holiday camps. My daughter is going on her 2nd camp tomorrow and is so excited. Sue makes the experience so fun for the kids and apparently the food is great!!!!!

Such an amazing place for both adults and children. My son comes to the school holiday camp every holidays and it is his absolute favourite place to go. Very hands on, horses in fantastic condition and Sue makes it a very welcoming place

Thanks Sue and 'Tilly' for an amazing ride today... just perfect through the bush in the winter sunshine. Sue, you managed to strike the perfect balance between taking really good care of me and also making it feel like an adventure. The best fun that I've had in ages. I will be back just as soon as i can. :)

This place is absolutely beautiful, the farm and scenery was like something out of a fairytale, The horses are looked after immaculately, and the tack shed has everything that could be needed. I hadn’t been riding in a very long time, and my son 11 has never been riding before so naturally he was a bit nervous, with sues direction, warm up routine and firm encouragements had my son relaxed, happy and wanting to go riding again by the end of our ride. For myself I regained my somewhat(self) questioned confidence about riding and throughout the ride my memories and muscle memory started to emerge thanks to sue and her methods.I can’t thank you enough sue for making our first visit here so special, I will definitely be back again to soak it all in again.

I can only iterate what other client's have said. Sue and Langford Hill Riding Farm is absolutely terrific. I had not ridden for a couple of years and, yes with some trepidation on my part, went for a trail ride with Sue on a splendid steed, Bailey. He was very understanding of his rider and we had a tremendous time. The horses are in impeccable condition as is the Farm and I cannot say enough of the scenery and splashing about in the weir and the ride: I was lost in the magic, just a shame it all went too quick. I will definitely return soon. And, Sue, you are a find and a half. Thank you. :)

Thanks for upsetting my daughter tonight. I told you via email the girls heights and weights for two girls and one was to come. Tonight while chatting to you, you tell me to leave the one girl at home and take another girl, and that you have concerns for the girl who’s 80 kgs. Which is my daughter. So my daughter doesn’t attend her birthday gift??You advertise that riders can’t be over 100kgs, then tell me 80 is to much, that you’re 5ft 7 and 53kgs, that you wouldn’t Bungy jump because you’re to heavy. Way to go Sue, how to make a 14 yr old girl feel good about themselves. You could have emailed and said you couldn’t cater for the girls, not only are you rude, you’re don’t know how to deal with customers. By the way if you had a booking on the 20th May with Sue, her words were “well they haven’t paid so I will put you in there instead.” Way to run a business. NOT! By the way I am annoyed with you and rudeness and as you were on speaker phone my daughter heard every word you said, I hope you’re proud of yourself for upsetting an autistic kid. You were told she is autistic. Was it to hard for you to take a great kid on a ride, by the way your loss shes a great kid, we will find someone who has a heart of gold like hers to take her and her friends for a ride.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for adult riders with no riding experience. I felt unsafe and bullied by the owner during the ride. There was very little riding instruction beforehand (owing in part to our having trouble finding the place and arriving late) . There were gratuitous rude comments about not being able to teach me to balance if I couldn’t balance already when I simply asked what I should hold on to if feeling unbalanced. The horse I was riding didn’t like another horse in the group and sped up to bite that horse twice. I felt like I was going to fall off. Ironically saved from falling only by my ability to balance. I then said that I wanted to stop riding immediately and was not permitted to stop. The owner said ‘we do not give up’. I ended up riding another more placid horse and felt very apprehensive after the issues with the previous horse. The owner said that I am ‘obviously a very anxious person’ and that the horse sensed my anxiety. It was a beautiful location but a very stressful afternoon out. The owner said that I would have felt ‘like a failure’ if I hadn’t continued the ride. I don’t feel any sense of achievement. I feel disappointed in myself for tolerating being treated so rudely by someone who put my safety at risk by putting me on an inappropriate horse. I have since read a couple of other reviews by people who had similar experiences. I normally read all the reviews beforehand. What a pity I didn’t in this case.
