Lazy R Horse Riding

We headed up to Lazy R and had the most wonderful morning. So glad we did. Ron was the kindest, most easy going true blue Aussie with great stories to tell and a work ethic to die for. It’s not just a horse ride it was an amazing education experience on caring for horses. Our older teens and younger children were able to lead their horses, feed and groom them, brush them and watch Ron and his family members do their jobs. Not only that, my sons were invited to look around coops where the chickens, roosters and duck were and collect the eggs then we picked veggies from his patch and took home a box ful of fresh veg which we cooked up that night (rhubarb, Swiss chard, lemons)Don’t miss this place. We had a ball❤️

I took our 11 year old daugther for a trail ride with Ron. It was fantastic! Ron was great to chat to and gave use a few pointers with our riding. The horses looked in great condition and were very well cared for. The place was neat and tidy. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great trail ride

Highly recommend! Ron and Pluto were very accommodating. My daughter and I explored the farm while her aunty went for a ride with Pluto and all of us had a blast! Very lovely and genuine folks. Will definitely come back again next time we're down south.

My 7 year old daughter and I had a wonderful time on the trail ride. The horses were well cared for and Ron was very accommodating and patient with us first time riders. The scenery on the walk was absolutely gorgeous!

Ron was Great!Forget about the 1star review they got. If you cannot handle Ausi ocker language then jump back in your range rover and go back to your 5star lodge.My kids loved it and want to go back. I'm personally not a fan of horses but found them calm and relaxed around our excited group. Was a great few hrs and worth it. Thanks Ron

Hello. i used to work out at ron's. i worked there for about 2 and a half years.i haven't been out for a while. but i would highly recommend. everyone there is amazing and kind. you will never get bored at such an amazing place. horses are well cared for and extremely well trained. hope you enjoy your time out there :)

We visited the legendary Ron at Lazy R Horse Riding for two horse riding sessions last week. We had an absolute blast!! The funny cowboy Ron did excellent work with our 9 year old, inexperienced children. They learned a lot and are now much more comfortable around and with horses. We definitely recommend!Note: Because of my limited mobile telephone reception in Denmark, it was hard to establish contact with Ron's business. Therefor we driven up to his farm, to arrange the horse riding lessons. That was a great idea, and I must say the farm is a delight to visit - with the many friendly animals (cat, dogs and horses that are abound:)

Highly recommended! I quite often do horse trail rides when I am on holiday. My ride today with Ron is one of the best and most memorable ones I have experienced. My horse was well matched to my riding level, she had some life to her and was responsive. I felt completely safe while riding as the horse had been very well trained by Ron. The level of hospitality that Ron provides is rare and the experience you receive is well worth the amount he charges. He has led an amazing life and has so many great stories to tell. It was lots of fun. I left with some great memories and an armful of silver beet and broad beans from his garden.

Great experience! The Horses are well looked after, I had my first ever ride with Christmas and she was very friendly. Beside the view along the ride was excellent!
